Cfast Fixed & Removable Essential Course
This course will provide you with the basic knowledge and tools you will need to begin treating patients’ smiles with an effective and efficient system of tooth movement using tooth coloured brackets and wires or removable clear aligners.
Cfast is adult tooth movement that focuses on the area patients see when they smile, namely the canine to canine region of their upper and lower arches.
Introduction To Early Interceptive Orthodontics And Orthopaedics
Our Introduction to Early Interceptive Orthodontics and Orthopaedics is a 3 day course aimed at the general dental practitioner who wishes to further their knowledge of Orthopaedic and Early Interceptive Orthodontic treatment and integrate these treatment modalities in their own practices.
The aim is to equip dental practitioners of all levels of experience with the necessary knowledge, understanding and skills to be confident enough to start treating patients.
STRAIGHT Wire Therapy Course
This 3 day course is designed to provide the dental practitioner with the knowledge and skill to be able to do orthodontic finishing for patients in the permanent dentition. The orthodontic finishing procedure incorporates the same principles used during the orthopaedic phase of treatment in the mixed dentition, where we strive to develop the skeletal imbalances that might be present.
TMD And Essential Surgical Procedures During Orthodontic Treatment
During this 3-day course you will learn how to identify and treat Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunctions (TMD) that you will encounter in your practice. The Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) is a complex joint and we are observing an increase in patients suffering from this debilitating condition. It is essential that we can diagnose these dysfunctions accurately and to offer our patient the appropriate treatment, which can often be life changing for our patients suffering from TMD. In addition to treating TMD, we will look at surgical techniques that will provide the general dentist with the knowledge to carry out laser frenectomies, exposure of impacted teeth and placing Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs). There will be an opportunity to use a soft tissue laser to gain hands on experience in these techniques.
